Here's what we'd like you to know about funeral etiquette. Away at home and Mohave Memorial took care of our needs in less than 2 hours time! We were so comforted by the fact that they are prompt, personable and respectful.
There were no services, no lengthy preparations of the corps, and no embalming. Also, I asked that notification be placed in two sources in the town we came from and neither were notified. I don't know even if there was a notice of my wife's passing in the local Kingman obituaries. In my opinion Mohave Memorial gave me very poor service and little communication. Summer, our main contact throughout this horrendous week of losing my child suddenly and then the waiting for autopsy and viewing and cremation, was a calm, compassionate bright spot. If anyone was made for the difficult role of assisting the grieving it is this young woman.
